Chapter 1 - Arabella

"I have your latte Ms Foster"
"Extra foam? Last time I got a latte there was no foam..and I like foam" Arabella said, turning to look at her assistant with stressed out eyes
"Extra foam" The woman with dark hair and glasses replied with a smile. Arabella gave her a small smile and took a sip of the latte. Perfect.
"What would I do without you, Emily?" Arabella sighed to the woman before turning and walking towards her office "Call Macy's to confirm my meeting with them then call Victoria's Secret and confirm with them! I do not want to have both of them planned for the same day!" She called back to a secretary, sitting at a desk. Arabella took a step into her office and closed the door behind her before sitting down in her chair by her desk.

The window from her office had a stunning view of the Manhattan and just beyond, she could see where she would need to go to get back to her home. Camp Half Blood. It felt like it had been so long since she was there, but really, it wasn't. Arabella had left to go to school in LA. But she was only there a year before starting her own company. Now she had a clothing line, a magazine, a brand name..everything that she could ever want and it had only been a year. Arabella had mingled with celebrities, flown to Milan and Paris, vacationed in Greece, made so much money she couldn't even count it if she tried..but she was lonely.

When Arabella had moved to LA, she went with her boyfriend, Brian. He had meant so much to her at one point but they moved to LA and they started to drift apart. He wasn't the same guy that she had fallen in love with. So, she broke up with him and after a rather large fight, Arabella flew back to New York and started this company. When she had a broken heart, she threw herself into her work so that she didn't have to deal with the pain. However, she was quickly learning that it was very, very lonely at the top. The worst part was that she hadn't heard from Hunter in a very long time. He used to send her Iris messages every once in a while but it felt like it had been ages. Arabella knew that he was probably busy. See, he's a hunter and not just any hunter. He's one of the Hunters of Artemis.

Arabella sighed and looked out the window, wondering if it was a bad thing to miss being at camp. The very camp where they got attacked by monsters and she nearly died too many times for a regular girl. Arabella looked down at the little silver bracelet around her wrist and smiled at the memory. It had been a gift from the Gods and it could turn into a weapon in a moments notice. Smiling sadly, Arabella transformed it into her dagger, something that she hadn't done for a very long time. It had been a long time since she had been attacked by a monster. There were a few in LA, but she was just able to Charmspeak them, make them do what she wants them to do. So she just made them turn around and forget about her.

"The man from Sacks is here to see you" A voice from Arabella's intercom said, pulling her out of her dream. quickly, she changed her dagger back to a bracelet and sat up straighter, fixing her hair.
"Send him in" Arabella said and tried to look professional as the man walked in the room and closed the door.
"Hello Mr Waldorf, welcome to A.Marie" Arabella said and smiled at him, but the smile on her face faltered when she saw him for what he really was. Arabella hardly had the time to whisper his name before he lunged at her..

"Laestrygonian.."
